Saturday, 02 May 2026, Adopt-a-Highway Announcement
Thank you for your continued support of FMA Chapter 19. The Chapter’s quarterly Adopt-a-Highway cleanup is approaching and we are seeking your kokua. This is also a great family activity as well as an opportunity to give back to the community. Come and spend a short while of your Saturday morning to help your fellow Chapter members.
What?
Federal Managers Association Chapter 19 will be conducting their quarterly Adopt-a-Highway clean-up.
Please KOKUA, come out and help keep the highway to our workplace clean. Clean-up takes about 1.5 hours and we’ll have snacks and refreshments for you at the finish line. Please don’t forget to dress appropriately for working outside in the early morning sun with covered shoes (no slippers please). Gloves, vest, and trash bags will be distributed to all the participants. Being discipline to this action will allow us to come out and clean “OUR” highway in a safe environment. Be prepared, be safe, and have a nice clean-up day.

Where?
Meeting place will be at the Block Arena parking lot inside of the shipyard. Bring you CAC card.
When?
This coming Saturday, 02 May 2026, 0700 to 0900.
We will meet rain or shine. If weather is unfavorable, event will be canceled from the meeting site. If you have questions, contact Enrique Sabal at (808) 368-0881.
Thursday, 07 May & Friday, 08 May, Quarterly PHNSY Blood Drive
Thanks to Enrique Sabal and the generous contributors, the Pearl Harbor Shipyard blood drive collected 209 whole blood units in 2025. The Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) Blood Donor Officer in Charge, 2nd Lieutenant Arismark D Cataghal , responded to the contributions with “We would have spend $71,256 if we were to procure these whole blood units from outside sources. All whole blood units directly supports TAMC and INDOPACOM operations, as well as our families and veterans. Once again, we truly appreciate your efforts, dedication, and coordination.” If able, schedule an appointment now for the upcoming February 2026 blood drive.
