Join Us for our Next Adopt-a-Highway Event on 23 May 2023
Honolulu, Hawaii, May 6, 2023 We had a great cleanup on Saturday. The sun was just right and not too intense. The breeze kept us cool. The camaraderie achieved through service is what make these volunteer opportunities great. Of course, we hope all saw a noticeably cleaner and neater Shipyard entry. Our FMA President, Nomana Angelo, did some heavy lifting of the crazy random “parts” left on the shoulders. Our 1st Vice President, James Andrade, shown in the picture, took the lead on the middle median strips while our 2nd Vice President, Ryan Umemoto, took lead of the right-side grassy areas. There are various areas for all levels of participation. But whatever you do, it all leads to a nicer place to work at for everyone. Mahalo to all the volunteers.
